Yanni Hufnagel talented and experienced basketball coach

Yanni Hufnagel is proving to be a very experienced assistant coach since he joined Wolf Pack coaching staff for 2016-2017 as an assistant coach. He is under couch Eric Musselman who happens to be the head coach. For two seasons as an assistant coach in California and now in Nevada has proven how Yanni Hufnagel is passionate about coaching and recruiting. He is devoted to training and imparting the Nevada basketball players with all the experience he ever passed through in California, Harvard, Oklahoma, and Vanderbilt.

Yanni Hufnagel being in the program makes the head coach believe that they will go places since Yanni Hufnagel has experience, power and high energy as a coach and a recruiter.

During Yanni Hufnagel`s time in Berkeley, he worked with top class backcourts in the Pac-12 Jaylen Brown and highly ranked top scorer Tyrone Wallace,Who earned reputations in NBA, Boston Celtics, Utah Jazz and the whole world. In California, he helped Golden Bears team to secure a no. 4 seed in the NCAA Tournament. He was also responsible for training and recruiting McDonald`s All-Americans, Jaylen Brown, and Ivan Rabb. The class that was ranked top two nationally by Scout.com.

Yanni worked as an assistant coach at Vanderbilt where he earned an excellent reputation for being nationally ranked as the Commodore`s recruiting coordinator. He trained Damian Jones, and for his performances, Jones was in the 2016 NBA draft by the Golden State Warriors. In his career course, he served at Harvard for four seasons as an assistant coach, providing the best performances.

He pursued the Bachelor of Science in industrial and labor relations at the Cornell University. He attained his internship with the New Jersey Nets and later joined the University of Oklahoma for coaching as an assistant coach. He received his master’s in Adult and Higher Education majoring in Athletics Administration.
