They also get them involved in physical activities through programs at after-school programs, day camps, churches and parks.
The International Pediatric Specialists Alliance for the Children of Vietnam is another program with which Dr. Mark Holterman is involved. The program helps to sustainably improve children in Vietnam’s access to pediatric medicine by running a variety of initiatives. They include bringing in medical supplies, medical personnel and an array of other resources for healthcare facilities throughout Vietnam. IPSAC-VN also runs the International Scholar Program. Through this program Vietnamese medical professionals are taken to American medical institutions and given intense training in clinical examinations and medical research for two months.
